In this episode we speak with Richard Van Doel, PhD, President and CEO of Performance Validation (www.perfval.com), and President/CEO of the Indiana Center for Employee Ownership (www.INCEO.org).


Rick Van Doel was awarded a Louis O. Kelso Fellowship by Rutgers University, School of Management and Labor Relations. We discuss his dissertation topic, "Exploring Stewardship Characteristics in the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services Employee-Owned Companies," which examined the influence of stewardship on employee owned governance and firm productivity. Rick also give us an overview of the results of research funded by the Kellogg Foundation. We then get his perspective as the CEO of a 100% Employee-Owned Company.
